The Therapy Process


In all modes of Psychotherapy you will establish specific Goals, and determine the Steps you will need to take to Achieve those Goals.

Whether in Individual, Group, Marital/Couples or Family Therapy, the relationship with a Psychologist is a HIPAA Protected and Confidential relationship, one that focuses not only on the content of what you discuss--but also on the Process. 

The Therapeutic process is considered to be just as important as the specific Issues or Concerns that you bring to Therapy. On the whole-you can expect that your Psychologist will be someone who Supports you, Listens to you, Operates in the context of a Healthy Relationship, gives Helpful/Appropriate Feedback, follows Ethical Guidelines, and Ultimately--attempts to lead you to your 'Best Self...'
